Kathleen MillerKathleen F. Miller earned a B.A. in Communications and a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Washington. She began her career as a copywriter and editor, then worked in marketing and public relations for the American Cultural Exchange, Lake Washington Institute of Technology and GE Capital before pursuing freelance writing, editing and marketing consultation full-time.

Her clients have included Issaquah Bank, HopeLink, Acadio, the March of Dimes, Washington Mutual, GE, Microsoft and the Earshot Jazz Festival among many others.

She has served on several boards including most recently, as Vice President of Communication for Assistance League of the Eastside. In recognition of her work mentoring students and creating “college to work” programs at the University of Washington, she was selected as a member of the Department of Communication’s Alumni Hall of Fame.
